What’s New in 2022
Enter a wonderfully enchanting garden setting where formal and informal concerts and performances will take place over the 10 days of the Festival. Food, wine, tables and chairs will be available for guests to enjoy the tropical outdoor atmosphere. Located next to the Townsville Civic Theatre, most Festival Garden events are free.
Take the time to enrich your mind with presentations from leading speakers in music and science. The topics include Einstein’s Universe and Sea Conservation, along with a special celebration of Australia’s premiere string quartet, The Goldner String Quartet.
Dotted throughout the Festival program are performances by musicians of their musical guilty pleasures, classical or otherwise. Guaranteed to surprise and delight, so look out for these segments in concerts.
