AFCM Concert Conversations 1 - Concerto Conversations
AFCM Concert Conversations offer an engaging start to the day, beginning with Artistic Director Jack Liebeck in conversation with visiting Festival musicians, exploring various personal and professional aspects of their lives. This is followed by a 45-minute performance, with tea and coffee served beforehand.

Today, award-winning broadcaster and composer Andrew Ford takes you on a lively journey through thousands of years of music. In The Shortest History of Music, Part 1, he asks how music began and evolved, and shows how it has always occupied the most private and public parts of our lives. From lullabies to court music, from the home to the world stage, from the folk song to the symphony: music reflects every aspect of our lives.
