Bekki is a marine biologist with Great Adventures, dedicated to protecting and sharing the wonders of coral reef ecosystems. She holds a degree in Environmental Science (Marine Biology) and a postgraduate diploma in Tropical Marine Biology from James Cook University. Her international experience spans Mauritius, Indonesia, South Africa and five years in the Maldives, where she guided guests through reef environments. Bekki has worked in coral restoration, shark and ray conservation and sea turtle rehabilitation. Since returning to Australia in 2022, she has been based in Cairns, inspiring visitors to connect with and protect the Great Barrier Reef.
