Alexander Krichel
Alexander Krichel is an ECHO Klassik prize-winning pianist acclaimed for interpretations that combine virtuosity with deep expressive insight. Born in Hamburg, he studied in Hanover with Vladimir Krainev and at the Royal College of Music in London with Dmitri Alexeev. His repertoire spans Beethoven to Prokofiev, with a particular affinity for Rachmaninov, reflected in several acclaimed recordings. Alexander performs internationally at major concert halls and festivals, appears regularly with leading orchestras and conductors, and is an active chamber musician. He is also an artistic director and a committed advocate for music education and community engagement.
