Benjamin Roskams studied at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with First Class Honours before continuing at the Guildhall with David Takeno, Amsterdam with Ilya Grubert, and working with Ivry Gitlis in Paris. A dedicated chamber musician, he has appeared at the Berliner Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall and major international festivals. Equally accomplished as a violist, he performs with leading ensembles in the UK and Australia and has broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and ABC. He has served as Guest Concertmaster and Guest Principal Viola with major European orchestras and taught at the Royal College of Music.
