Nathanael Duffy
Nathanael Duffy is a clarinettist with Zaza Road Quartet, the 2024 AFCM Fellowship Ensemble.
Since age 8, Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) Honours candidate Nathanael Duffy has been captivated by the kaleidoscopic voice of the clarinet. Now guided by Australia's great clarinettist-composer Paul Dean at QCGU, he is a casual clarinettist with the QSO and as a soloist has performed the Mozart Clarinet Concerto with the Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra.
In 2020, Nathanael was the recipient of a VCE Premier’s Award in Music Performance. He has participated in several Australian Youth Orchestra programs from 2019-2023, played alongside Ensemble Q as a Young Artist, and as a chamber musician looks forward to continuing to expand the breadth of his repertoire as part of the Zaza Road Quartet.
