About this event:
This Sunday morning concert has everything to set up your day. Mozart’s Piano Quartet and exuberant musical fireworks in Weber’s Clarinet Quintet are our classical pillars. Mix in one of our Artistic Director’s favourite pieces, the totally lush Ravel Sonata besides an astonishing arrangement of Lachrymae by Britten and you have a magnificent medley. Following this two-part concert, lunch will be served on the Veranda.

About this event:
Set in the atmospheric St James' Cathedral, the first half of this concert pays homage to Moscow and composers associated with this great Russian city. Who can resist the simply gorgeous Vocalise by Rachmaninov not to mention Kabalevsky’s epic Sonata. After the interval we depart for Denmark and a rarely heard gem by 19th Century composer, Niels Gade. What a treat! Gershwin, whose father was born in St. Petersburg, left his Russian ancestry far behind. Courtesy of Rhapsody in Blue, let us transport you to jazzy New York and some toe tapping happiness!
