AFCM Winterschool Program
The AFCM Winterschool program is a truly amazing opportunity for young musical students around the world to gain invaluable coaching and development from some of the world's finest chamber musicians. Our goal is to inspire, influence and educate musical students at both tertiary and high school level.
We have two coaching programs available, based on student age:
A. Advanced Winterschool Program
Designed for tertiary students, the Advanced Winterschool provides extensive coaching and mentoring opportunities to young ensembles. Running for the 10 days of the Festival and directed by international violinist, composer and educator Pavel Fischer, it delivers public and private masterclasses to students with coaching from some of the Festival’s top visiting musicians. B. Junior Winterschool Program
Hosted on the first weekend of the Festival, the Junior Winterschool provides high school level music students with professional training, coaching and performance opportunities, also directed by this year's International Winterschool Director, Pavel Fischer. For more information please click here.
