Yvette Braithwaite-Bragg - General Manager
Yvette joins the Australian Festival of Chamber Music team bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in the fields of sales, administration, management and marketing.
Coming from extremely successful careers in the Brown Brothers Milawa Vinyard PTY LTD and Townsville City Council, Yvette brings qualities and expertise from various roles including State Manager, Sales & Marketing Professional, Special Events Manager and Protocol Officer.
Yvette’s interests include wine, cooking and entertaining family and friends, and where ever possible spending weekends at Magnetic Island and Sejala Resort at Mission Beach with daughter Ruby and husband Tave.
Future ambitions include taking off for a year to explore the vineyards of the world with Tave and Ruby.
Melissa Wilson - Artistic Administrator
Melissa joins the Australian Festival of Chamber Music as the Artistic Administrator.
Prior to her employment at the AFCM, Melissa held positions with the Townsville City Council as Assistant Special Events and Protocol Officer, Public Relations Department and recently Marketing Support Officer, Corporate Communications Department. While at university Melissa worked within the local accommodation industry as a Receptionist and Marketing Assistant. In 2005, Melissa completed her double degree at James Cook University to attain a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Bachelor of Tourism Management.
Melissa's interests include travel, music and cooking. Melissa brings knowledge of music, event management, tourism and marketing to the AFCM team.
Nadene George - Philanthropy Manager
Nadene joins the Australian Festival of Chamber Music as Philanthropy Manager.
Nadene has recently joined the AFCM after a brief break in raising her two young boys with her husband Ross. Nadene's prior role was the General Manager of a Brisbane based fundraising company that supported large and small Australian and New Zealand not-for-profit Organisations in their fundraising programmes.
Nadene also worked in London, mainly in Customer Relationship Management roles with U.K. and Europe based clients. Nadene considers her skills best lie in developing customer relationships, and enjoys the challenge of working in the arts and not-for-profit community.
In her spare time, Nadene is a fan of art deco architecture and loves collecting 50-60's Australian made memorabilia. Nadene, originally from Townsville took up rowing in the U.K, and hopes to resume rowing in the local scene again with time permitting.
Jenny Sebba - Finance Officer
Jenny joins the Australian Festival of Chamber Music as Finance Officer.
Jenny moved from Melbourne to Townsville at the end of 2002 and brings her wide experience in bookkeeping to the Festival's administration. She was drawn north by the warm weather and relaxed lifestyle here and wonders why she didn't do it earlier.
Her hobbies at the moment include Tai Chi which she took up last year after years of yoga. She is also trying her hand at pottery but is still very much in the learning phase and is convinced that the clay has a mind of its own.
Amy Zaghini - Asst Marketing & Events Coordinator
Amy joins the Australian Festival of Chamber Music as assistant Marketing and Events Coordinator.
Amy has recently graduated with Distinction from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Creative Industries - Interdisciplinary, majoring in Creative Industries Management, Music Studies and Performance Studies. Throughout her study, Amy has worked closely with the Brisbane Festival, the 2High Festival, Vena Cava's Fusion Festival, as well as Youth Arts Queensland events. In 2009, Amy was appointed Events Coordinator for the Queensland Academy for Creative Industries, organising festivals and events for innovative Creative Industries students in years 10 - 12. Amy is very excited to be working on this years Chamber Music Festival, bringing her knowledge of event management and music to the AFCM team.
Amy loves to sing, dance, act and compose music. Future ambitions include travelling around Europe, coordinating her very own festival and writing a Broadway musical.
